Charles W. Johnson (1921-2000)
Charles Woodson Johnson, M.D. (7 November 1921 - 11 October 2000) was a physician in San Antonio, Texas, President of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, the author of several essays from the late 1960s on libertarianism and free-market medicine, a supporter of several libertarian organizations, and an active genealogist researching (among others) the Johnson, Ebbs, and Harrison families.
Dr. Johnson was the husband of Frances Ebbs, the father of the political scientist Paul M. Johnson (b. 1946), and the grandfather and namesake of the left-libertarian writer Charles W. Johnson (b. 1981).
