The Fair Use Repository's Notes from the Margins is a sourcebook for general use and especially for cross-references from texts collected in the Fair Use Repository. Sources are organized by topic, in order to give a wide collection of information and cross-references on the meanings of terms, the uses of concepts, the life and activities of people, and the history of places and events. By collecting sources and information we hope to provide an outlet for useful information about topics where direct references to the original sources is important for understanding, people and events which became briefly important but now go unremembered, and topics where only fragmentary information is available — all topics that are often marginalized or ill-served by encyclopediac services like WikiPedia.
